The main ingredient in our Baby Butt Balm is shea butter--always great for moisturizing and protecting dry, irritated skin. A healthy dose of calendula-infused olive oil adds the calendula flower's renowned healing properties to our balm, helping to soothe the soreness of rashes. Macadamia nut oil and avocado oil nourish and soften, while being easily absorbed by the skin. They are particularly beneficial to sensitive skin. Avocado oil is also naturally high in vitamin E, and has regenerative properties. A bit of beeswax boosts the oils' water repelling abilities, protecting the skin from coming into direct contact with moisture. Beeswax also has natural healing and antibacterial properties. Finally, extracts of peppermint and echinacea fight bacteria and infection, relieve pain and inflammation, and heal skin irritations.

This product is 100% natural and unscented. Although some companies add tea tree or lavender essential oil to their diaper balms, we do not because they have strong medicinal and/or hormone disrupting effects and may not be safe for use on babies.
